VIDEO EDITING - With a background in music, live sound, and studio recording, I bring my rhythmic instincts into the video editing realm. I have worked on reality tv, narrative features, documentaries, sports, cooking shows, webisodes, music videos, corporate videos, and news. I specialize in documentary-style story-telling, music-driven montages, and dynamic pacing. I have been editing professionally since 2005. I use Resolve, Premerie, Avid, Final Cut Pro 7, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Media Encoder, Vimeo, and Squarespace.

CAMERA OPERATOR - I currently own two cameras. I have the Sony A7rii and the Sony A7riv which I use with the Sony 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8 lenses and the Atomos Video Recorder. My areas of expertise are interviews, verite, b-roll, and live music. I also have my own light kit and portable audio recorder with lavalier mics and a shotgun mic, available for shooting interviews and documentary-style run and gun situations, as well as live music or events. I have a good relationship with other DIY shooter types, and can put together small, reliable crews to match different projects.

DIRECTING - I have completed a feature-length documentary, that I directed and produced entitled A Wandering Path about Gilead Media, Migration Fest, loads of band and more www.awanderingpath.com. I have directed thee music videos, numerous short-form docs, and am currently development a documentary about the garment industry in Los Angeles and a documentary about motorcycle swap meet culture.

PHOTOGRAPHY - I do photography as a hobby and a release. I do not like being all cooped up in the city all the time. When I travel, whether it is on tour playing music, or getting out into nature I enjoy capturing images. It is a way to be creative without the constraints of too much technology.
